The Red Sox slammed four homers, including a pair of two-run shots by Tony Conigharo, and beat the Brewers, 12-5. Conigliaro started the Red Sox scoring with a smash in the first inning. Carl Yastrzemski connected with a man on base in the fifth. Conigliaro homered again in the seventh and George Thomas added a solo swat.
