A single by Bob Oliver in 10th inning, scoring Cookie Rojas from second base, gave the Royals a 3-2 victory over the Tigers. Norm Cash put the Tigers ahead, 2-1, with a two-run homer in the fourth, but the Royals tied the score in seventh on two walks and a single by Pat Kelly. Rojas singled in the 10th.
