Danny Walton, returning to the lineup after being benched for eight games, hit a single and double to spark the Brewers to a 6-2 victory over the Senators. Walton singled in the fifth inning for the first hit off George Brunet and, after a walk and a sacrifice, the Brewers scored two runs on an infield out by Dave May and a single by Marty Pattin. Walton's double was good for an RBI when the Brewers added a pair in the sixth. Two more runs scored in the seventh before the Senators posted their pair in the eighth on four singles and a sacrifice fly by Frank Howard. [The Sporting News]
