Backed by 14-hit attack, Alan Foster beat the Braves for the fourth straight time this season. Singles by Foster and Manny Mota, around a pass to Billy Grabarkewitz, loaded the bases for Davis' slam off Don Cardwell in the fifth inning on a blooper-type homer that traveled only about 330 feet into the right field grandstand.
