Roger Repoz rapped a tie-breaking homer in the eighth inning to carry the Angels to a 3-2 victory over the Orioles. Frank Robinson, who batted in both Orioles' runs, plated the initial tally with an infield out in the first. The Angels scored in the fourth on a triple by Alex Johnson and single by Jay Johnstone. Jim Fregosi homered in the sixth before the Orioles tied the score in the eighth on a single by Terry Crowley, forceout by Don Buford and double by Robinson. [The Sporting News]
