Jesus Alou, who had been on a hot hitting streak, batted in two runs with a single in the eighth inning as the Astros rallied to beat the Phillies, 4-3. Alou hit a sacrifice fly to plate the Astros' initial run in the fourth, but the Phillies went ahead with three in the sixth. Doug Rader singled to open the Astros' eighth and Denis Menke walked.
