After Wayne Comer beat out an infield hit, Frank Howard and Rick Reichardt smashed back-to-back homers in the seventh inning to lift the Senators to a 4-2 victory over the White Sox. Reichardt was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the fifth to force in the game's first run. The White Sox were held to four hits by Jackie Brown, including a homer by Tommy McCraw in the sixth and another by Ed Herrmann in the ninth. [The Sporting News]
