The White Sox loaded the bases in the ninth inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Rich Morales to beat the Senators, 4-3. Gail Hopkins beat out a grounder to Aurelio Rodriguez to open the frame and advanced an extra base when the Senators' third baseman threw wildly. Ken Berry walked and Bobby Knoop singled to fill the sacks before Morales hit his fly to plate pinch-runner Tommy McCraw. [The Sporting News]
