Rafael Robles collected a single for the first hit off Perry. The Giants loaded the bases in the sixth inning on walks to Willie Mays and Ken Henderson around a double by Willie McCovey and scored their runs on a sacrifice fly by Dick Dietz, single by Al Gallagher and sacrifice fly by Hal Lanier.
