Jack Hiatt, playing against his former Chicago teammates, rapped two run-scoring doubles as the batterymate for Jack Billingham, who pitched the Astros to a 7-3 victory over the Cubs. Jesus Alou also drove in two runs with a pair of singles. Billy Williams hit his third homer in as many games for the Cubs, connecting with a man on base in the ninth inning. [The Sporting News]
