Willie Stargell smashed three homers and drove in four runs for the Pirates, but the Braves were able to gain a 5-4 victory in 12 innings. Orlando Cepeda batted in the Braves' first two runs with a sacrifice fly and a double. Hank Aaron tied the score at 4-4 with a two-run homer in the ninth.
