Breaking up a scoreless duel, Jerry Grote homered in the 11th inning to give the Mets a 1-0 victory over the Reds. The defeat was the fourth straight for the Reds and the third for Wayne Granger, who was on the mound in relief when Grote connected for the circuit. [The Sporting News]
