Dick Allen hit his first homer in a Dodgers' uniform to mark a 4-3 victory over the Cubs. Steve Garvey also hit for the circuit and Jim Lefebvre drove in the Dodgers' two other runs with a triple. Cubs' catcher Randy Hundley, pinch-hitting in his first appearance of the season, reinjured his right knee and had to be carried off the field. [The Sporting News]
