. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Johnny Bench found the homer range for the first time this season, smashing two round-trippers and driving in four runs, to lead the Reds to a 7-3 victory over the Braves. The triumph was the first of the season for the Reds after four losses. Jim McGlothlin, who was the winner, chipped in with the second homer of his major league career. The first one also came in Atlanta last year. [The Sporting News]
