The Senators, who were held scoreless on two hits through six innings and trailed by five runs, rallied in the seventh to edge the Red Sox, 6-5. A walk and singles by Joe Foy, Frank Howard and Richie Scheinblum produced the first two tallies and chased Mike Nagy. After committing an error that loaded the bases, Bobby Bolin walked Tommy McCraw and Elliott Maddox on eight straight pitches to force in two more runs.
