Earl Williams, the Braves' rookie third baseman, hit the first two homers of his major league career to mark a 6-2 victory over the Phillies. Orlando Cepeda and Hal King also homered for the Braves, connecting in succession in the seventh inning. Then, after Felix Millan flied out, Williams hit his first homer.
