Frank Howard hit his first homer in New York since September 3, 1967, to mark the Senators' 7-2 victory over the Yankees. The Nats' slugger walked and scored in the first inning and singled and scored again in the third before smashing his homer off Fritz Peterson in the fourth. [The Sporting News]
