Willie Stargell tied the major league record for the most homers in April, smashing his 10th of the month, to feature the Pirates' 7-4 victory over the Braves. Richie Hebner, who had gone 0-for-24, broke out of his slump with a single and two triples, driving in three runs. [The Sporting News]
