. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A three-run homer by Carlos May in the eighth inning carried the White Sox to a 4-2 victory over the Brewers. With one out, pinch-hitter Lee Maye singled and Lee Richard ran for him. After Ed Stroud flied out, Mike Andrews singled, setting the stage for May. The other White Sox run also came on a homer, Ed Herrmann hitting it in the second inning. Wilbur Wood, back in the bullpen for the White Sox, saved the game for Tom Bradley. [The Sporting News]
