Denny McLain posted his second shutout of the season, pitching the Senators to a 2-0 victory over the Twins. A walk to Toby Harrah, sacrifice by McLain and single by Tim Cullen produced a run in the sixth inning and decided McLain's duel with Bert Blyleven.
