. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Three pinch-hitters, Walt Williams, Rich Morales and Rich McKinney, came through with singles as the White Sox scored four runs in the seventh inning to defeat the Senators, 5-4. Singles by Mike Andrews, Williams and Morales produced the first run. After a pass to Lee Maye and a forceout of Williams at the plate, McKinney drove in two runs with a single and Carlos May followed with a sacrifice fly to plate what proved to be the deciding tally.
