Bill Stoneman yielded only six hits and pitched the Expos to a 5-1 victory over the Astros. The Expos gave Stoneman enough runs to win in the first inning. Ron Hunt led off with his first homer of the season. Rusty Staub was hit by a pitch and Bob Bailey walked.
