Bobby Bonds, Dick Dietz and Willie McCovey hit homers to power the Giants to a 6-1 victory over the Reds. Bonds led off the game with a round-tripper and, after the Giants picked up two more runs, Dietz also connected for the circuit. McCovey hit his homer after a pass to Willie Mays in the third.
