Led by Willie Montanez, the Phillies defeated the Braves, 4-3, to snap their five-game losing streak. Montanez homered in the fourth inning, connected for the circuit again with a man on base in the seventh and then doubled and scored what proved to be the winning run on a single by Don Money in the ninth.
