George Scott drove in two runs with a double in the fifth inning to bring the Red Sox a 3-2 victory over the Tigers. After the Red Sox counted once in the first, the Tigers took the lead with a single by Dick McAuliffe and homer by Willie Horton in the fourth. However, in the fifth, Luis Aparicio singled, Reggie Smith walked and Scott sent them home with his two-bagger. [The Sporting News]
