A two-run homer by Tony Oliva in the third inning and two-run double by Harmon Killebrew in the fifth helped the Twins overcome an early deficit en route to a 12-6 victory over the Angels. The Twins were losing, 5-2, before Oliva hit his homer. The Angels picked up a run in their half for a 6-4 lead, but Killebrew's double with the bases loaded tied the score and the Twins then went ahead to stay when another run counted on a walk that filled the sacks again, and a forceout by Leo Cardenas.
