Nate Colbert hit a single, double and triple to lead the Padres to a 4-2 victory over the Astros. A single by Dave Campbell, Colbert's triple and a single by Ollie Brown gave the Padres two runs in the first inning.

Colbert scored again after his single in the sixth. However, he pulled a muscle running out his double in the eighth and was forced to leave the game. [The Sporting News]
