Mark Belanger and Don Buford supplied big blows in the second inning when the Orioles scored five runs to defeat the Twins, 8-2. Frank Robinson singled, Boog Powell walked and Davey Johnson singled to produce the first run of the stanza. Belanger doubled, driving in Powell and Johnson.
