Hal Lanier doubled to lead off the 10th inning and scored from second base with two out on a wild pitch by Tug McGraw to give the Giants a 3-2 victory over the Mets. Willie McCovey homered with a man on base for the Giants in the fourth and Dave Marshall tied the score with a pinch-homer for the Mets in the ninth. [The Sporting News]
