The streaking Royals came from behind to defeat the Red Sox, 4-3, for their fifth straight victory and 11th in the last 12 games. The Royals, who were trailing, 3-1, tied the score with two runs in the fifth inning and added the deciding marker in the sixth on a single by Chuck Harrison, pass to Joe Keough and single by Jerry May, handing Sonny Siebert his third loss in a row.
