Mike Cuellar gained his eighth straight victory and 10th of the season when the Orioles defeated the White Sox. 2-1. Mark Belanger singled and scored for the Orioles in the third inning and then singled to drive in the winning run in the seventh after Tom Egan had homered for the White Sox to tie the score.
