Mike Jorgensen, playing in his first game since being recalled from Tidewater (International), smashed two homers to help the Mets defeat the Dodgers, 7-2. The outfielder homered in the first inning to tie the score at 1-1 and then put the finishing touches on the victory with a round-tripper in the eighth.
