Lou Brock, Joe Torre and Jerry McNertney rapped three hits apiece to pace the Cardinals to a 6-5 victory over the Dodgers. Jose Cardenal singled in the sixth inning, stole second and scored what proved to be the winning run on a double by Brock. [The Sporting News]
