Juan Marichal hit a two-run homer to clinch his 10th victory and the Giants extended their winning streak to seven games by defeating the Cubs, 5-2. Ken Henderson broke a 2-2 tie with a homer in the eighth inning and, after Dick Dietz walked, Marichal wrapped up the decision with his round-tripper. [The Sporting News]
