With Vida Blue's mother, brother and four sisters in the stands, seeing him pitch for first time in a pro game, the Athletics' sensational southpaw beat the Royals, 7-0. Blue's family was flown from Mansfield, La., as guests of Oakland owner Charlie Finley.
