Ken Holtzman, who had lost twice to the Cardinals previously this season, turned around with a six-hitter and pitched the Cubs to a 5-1 victory. Don Kessinger led the Cubs' support of Holtzman with four hits, driving in one run, and Ron Santo mashed a homer with two on base. [The Sporting News]
