Ron Bryant continued to defy the Giants' jinx in the Astrodome and combined with Steve Hamilton to beat the Astros, 3-1, before 35,025, the largest crowd of the year in Houston. Bryant, who provided his own winning margin with a single in the fourth inning, now had credit for both of the Giants' victories in the Astrodome this season and four of their five victories under the dome over the last three years.
