The Giants suffered their 20th defeat in the last 25 games in the Astrodome when they lost to the Astros, 5-2. Ken Forsch, pitching for the Astros, gave up six hits, three of them in the fourth inning when the Giants scored their two runs. The Astros rallied to go ahead in the fifth and clinched the victory when Jim Wynn broke an 0-for-16 slump with a two-run single in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
