An unearned run with two out in the ninth inning gave the Angels a 4-3 victory over the Royals. Sandy Alomar bunted and was safe when hit by Ted Abernathy's throw. Alomar stole second and continued to third on a throwing error by Dennis Paepke. Billy Cowan then batted for Lloyd Allen and singled to win the game. [The Sporting News]
