Chris Speier started the Giants' slugging with a homer after a pass to John Cumberland in the third. Willie Mays walked ahead of a boundary belt by Bobby Bonds in the fifth. A single by Tito Fuentes and pass to Bonds preceded a homer by Ken Henderson in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
