Brooks Robinson smashed a three-run homer in the fifth inning for the 2,500th hit of his major league career to mark the Orioles' 7-3 victory over the Senators. Merv Rettenmund also homered with two aboard in the first inning. Mike Cuellar, showing no effects of a neck strain suffered in an auto accident July 5, posted his 11th straight victory.
