Deron Johnson homered in each game of a twi-night doubleheader as the Phillies defeated the Expos, 2-0 and 3-2, behind route-going performances by Woodie Fryman and Rick Wise. Johnson provided the Phillies' first run in the lidlifter and their deciding tally in the nightcap. Wise ended his personal three-game losing streak since pitching his no-hitter against the Reds June 23. [The Sporting News]
