Although held to only four hits, the Senators converted five of their 10 walks into runs and defeated the Brewers, 5-1. Dick Bosman, who pitched for the Senators, yielded 11 hits but drove in three runs with a bunt single and a double.

In the second inning, two walks, a sacrifice and a wild pitch netted the Nats' first run. After another pass, two tallies followed on Bosman's bunt and a single by Dave Nelson. Bosman cracked his double after two walks in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
