The Astros, who were held to one hit by Bill Stoneman in the first eight innings, rallied for three runs to tie the score in the ninth, but the Expos came back with a run in the 10th to gain a 4-3 victory. Two walks and consecutive two-out singles by Denis Menke and Johnny Edwards drove Stoneman from the mound. Mike Marshall relieved and was the winner when the Expos scored in the 10th on a single by Bob Bailey, pass to Ron Fairey and single by John Boccabella. [The Sporting News]
