. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Al Gallagher drove in two runs with a double and single to enable the Giants to defeat the Braves, 2-1. A walk to Felix Millan and singles by Oscar Brown and Earl Williams produced the Braves' tally in the fifth inning.

Dick Dietz walked in the sixth and scored the Giants' tying run on an error and Gallagher's double. Dietz then doubled in the eighth and scored the deciding run on Gallagher's single. [The Sporting News]
