A three-run homer by Tom Haller and three-run triple by Jim Lefebvre powered the Dodgers to an 8-2 victory over the Reds. Dick Allen also homered for the Dodgers' first run in the second inning.

Allen, Willie Crawford and Lefebvre hit singles for another tally in the seventh before Haller smashed his homer. Lefebvre's triple in the eighth followed a single by Allen, double by Crawford and intentional pass to Wes Parker. [The Sporting News]
