A homer by Frank Robinson for the Orioles' only hit off Dick Drago was enough to beat the Royals, 1-0, in a game stopped by rain after 4½ innings. Robinson's drive in the first was the 493rd of his career, tying him with Lou Gehrig for 11th place on the all-time homer list. Jim Palmer, who pitched for the Orioles, limited the Royals to a pair of singles. [The Sporting News]
