A safe bunt that resulted in the injury of Grant Jackson forced the Orioles to change pitchers in the ninth inning and led to a 2-1 loss to the Yankees. Jackson, covering first base on a bunt by Roy White, pulled a thigh muscle and had to leave the game. After Tom Dukes relieved, Danny Cater sacrificed.
