Dick McAuliffe, Bill Freehan and Norm Cash drove in three runs apiece to power the Tigers to a 12-3 victory over the Brewers. McAuliffe got his RBIs with a homer, triple and single.

After McAuliffe homered in the third inning to break a 1-1 tie, Freehan connected for the circuit with two men on base. Cash rapped a home run, a pair of singles and a sacrifice fly. [The Sporting News]
