Virtually a one-man fire corps, Ken Sanders gained his 20th save when the Brewers defeated the Indians, 4-2. The rest of the Brewers' bullpen had only one save all season.

With the score tied, 2-2, the Brewers loaded the bases in the sixth inning on a walk to Andy Kosco, double by Bobby Mitchell and intentional pass to Ellie Rodriguez. Bob Heise then forced Rodriguez while Kosco raced home with the tie-breaking run. [The Sporting News]
